The flat is extremely well renovated and is fully furnished. Perfect for anyone who needs to study or brings work back home. The available room is a furnished, air-conditioned master bedroom with an attached toilet. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen & so you can cook as much as you want. :) There are also 3 foodcourts within a 100 meter vicinity and all the basic amenities like NTUC Fairprice, DBS Bank, Sheng Shiong Supermarket, Shop n Save, medical centres, wet market etc are within walking distance.
You are free to use all the facilities in the flat like the washing machine, fridge, TV, cooking utensils etc. It has everything one could possibly need for a comfortable life style. Basically, you will be sharing the entire flat with me. I myself am renting this flat and am not the owner, so we will be equals in that sense. :)
Furthermore, just behind the block is a beautiful woody green stretch with a canal and a 5 km jogging track, which is a rare combination in Singapore. What I absolutely love about this place is that even though it's so close to the Clementi MRT and bus interchange, it is EXCEPTIONALLY peaceful and quiet. In fact, you can hear the birds chirping and it's nice and windy due to the forested patch.
The block is at a 7 minute walk from the Clementi MRT and bus interchange, which makes it perfect for someone who is at NUS, INSEAD or any of the varied educational institutions in the area. I would prefer to live with a working female professional. However, in case you are a student only a graduate or Ph.D female student would be fine.
With regards to myself, I am a completely laid back individual who believes in giving people their space and doesn't split hairs over minor issues. Have lived with strangers for around 15 years now and have got along fabulously with practically all of them. I work at NUS and am extremely busy with work most of the time. I enjoy living with genuinely warm hearted people and so am looking out for someone who is friendly, easy to get along with, responsible, considerate and trustworthy. :)
If you fit the bill, it would be lovely to hear from you. You never know, sharing a living space with someone as non-fussy as myself might be a refreshing change from the nightmarish situation most tenants go through in Singapore. :)
